Yoon buys a box of markers for $2.85, but he has a coupon for 20% off. How much does he save with the coupon?

    Percents are out of 100, so 20% is the same thing as 20/100 or 0.2 as a decimal. To find how much he saves from the coupon, multiply the cost of the markers by 0.2.

    2.85 * 0.2 = 0.57
