What is the relationship between the volume of a cylinder and the volume of a rectangular prism

    The height is the distance between the bases. Rectangular solids and cylinders are somewhat similar because they both have two bases and a height. The formula for the volume of a rectangular solid, V = B*h, can also be used to find the volume of a cylinder.
