A contractor is hired to do stone work. She is preparing an estimate for a wall and gate. The job is expected to take 40 hours. She needs 2 workers which

are paid $12 per hour and 3 more which are paid $20 per hour. Materials are expected to cost $3,240. She wants a $500 profit. What will be the overall

cost of this stone work?

    First are 2 workers paid 12 per hour. 12 per hour for 40 hours is 12*40, and since there are 2 multiply that by 2, so 2*12*40

    Then there are 3 paid 20 per hour so that is 20*40*3

    Materials are 3240 and on top of that she wants a 500 dollar profit, which means after getting all that money she wants 500 more. So just add all these numbers up.
