This would equal 3N+4
Step-by-step explanation:
The way this is simplified is by distributive property.
Step 1. Multiply 1/2 by all the numbers inside the parentheses.
Step 2. Do the math. So 1/2 of 6 would be 3. Now one have of 8 is 4.
Thats the great thing about multiplying by 1/2, everything multiplied by 1/2 is half the number. Then you plug in the numbers and you get 3N+4
