When a number is decreased by 79%, the result is 13. What is the original number to the nearest tenth?

    If a number is decreased by 79%, we are left with 21%.

    so let's devide by 21 to get down to 1%, then multiply by 100 to get to the origininal number:

    13 / 21 * 100 = 61.9047619048

    To the nearest tenth it's 61.9
