One card is selected from a deck of 52 cards and placed in a second, similar deck. A card is then drawn from the second deck. What is the probability that this card drawn from the second deck is an Ace?

    A1 = event that card selected from first deck is ace

    A2 = event that card selected from second deck is ace

    P (X=A1) = 4/52

    P (X=A2) = to find we need to use baye theorem

    P (X=A2 = P (A2/A1) P (A1) + P (A2/notA1) P (notA1)

    = 5/53 * 4/52 + 4/53*48/52

    = 1/13
