How can I sole 2x over 3 is greater than 4x+10

    Explanation:

    (2x) / 3 is greater than 4x+10

    (2x) / 3 > 4x + 10

    You want to isolate x on 1 side:

    Multiply both sides by 3

    => 2x > 3 (4x + 10)

    => 2x > 12x + 30

    Subtract 12x from both sides:

    => - 10x > 30

    Divide - 10 from both sides. Note when multiplying or divide by a negative number in inequality, you must flip sign:

    => x < - 3 for (2x) / 3 to be greater than 4x+10

    Check: plug in - 6
