    now distribute the three inside the parenthesis and the 2 inside the brackets

    combine like terms

    3x+3=4x+10

    subtract three from both sides and subtract 4x from both sides

    -x=7

    divide whole equation by - 1

    -x/-1=7/-1

    simplify

    x=-7
