    x = 13/25

    Step-by-step explanation:

    - 4 (9 - 7x) - (1 - x) = 4 (x - 6)

    - 36 + 28x - 1 + x = 4x - 24

    28x + x - 4x = - 24 + 36 + 1

    25x = 13

    x = 13/25
