Solve the equation 14x-13=9x+1

    You'll want to get all the x's one side of the equation first:

    14x-9x-13=1

    then get all the numbers on the other side:

    23x=14

    then divide both sides by 23

    x=14/23

    or

    x = 0.60869565217
