They are both whole numbers. If you simplify 2/2 that will become 1 whole, and if you simplify 4/2 to 2/2 and 2/2 to 1 whole.

Fractions / Division if 2/2 is a fraction, if you divided it would be 1 with 4/2 if it was a fraction and you divided it would be 2.?
