If - 6 and 6 are the roots, x+6 and x-6 are the factors.

    So we have ...

    f (x) = (x+6) (x-6)

Because the leading coefficient is currently 1, we need to make it 3.

    f (x) = 3 (x+6) (x-6)

    f (x) = 3x²-108

    answer: f (x) = 3x²-108
