    Anne = x

    Miguel = 6x.

    6x + x = 133.

    7x = 133

    x = 19

    Anne rescued 19 dogs.

    Anne rescued 19 dogs.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let x equal the number of dogs Miguel saved and y equal the number of dogs saved by Anne. x+y=133 because this is the total amount of dogs saved between the two people. x=6y because in order to save the same amount of dogs, anne will have to save six times as many dogs as miguel, since he originally saved six times more dogs than her. when you solve these equations in a system and plugin 6y for x you will get 7y=133, when you solve for y you will get 9 which is the amount of dogs anne saved.
