Derek measured the height of a window frame as 5.49 feet, but the actual height was 6 feet. What is the percentage of error in Derek's measurement?

    Actual = 6 feet.

    Measure = 5.49 feet

    Error = 6 - 5.49 = 0.51

    % Error = (Error / Actual) * 100%

    = 0.51/6 * 100% = 8.5%
