Graph the linear inequality for y>1/3x - 2

    Ok to solve this problem with out a graphic calculator then you would do it the old fashion way.

    plug in values for x and figure out y

    i will suggest plugging in - 6, - 3, 0,3,6,9,12 etc anything with 3 as a multiple

    the answer for all the y to the x i told you to plug in would be, - 4, - 3, - 2, - 1, 0, 1, 2,

    Now graph it but instead of a solid line make a dash line

    since you know the y is more then what this line is wort you would shade abobe that line.
