An aquarium holds 11.25 cubic feet of water, and 2.5 feet long and 1.5 feet wide. What is its depth?

    The volume of the aquarium is V = Lx wx H

    it is already given that V=11.25 cubic feet, so 11.25=LxWxH

    H height and it is the aquarium's depth

    H=11.25 / L xW = 11.25/2.5x1.5 = 3 feet
