The sum of three consecutive whole numbers can be divided exactly by 3 give two examples to show this statement is true

    8+9+10 = 27

    27/3 = 9

    4+5+6 = 15

    15/3 = 5

    This is always so, because the third number has one extra that can be added to the first to make them 3x the same numbers.
