    4x + 2y = 8 ⇒ 12x + 6y = 24

    5x - 3y = 4 ⇒ 10x - 6y = 8

    22x = 32

    22 22

    x = 1⁵/₁₁

    4x + 2y = 8

    4 (1⁵/₁₁) + 2y = 8

    5⁹/₁₁ + 2y = 8

    - 5⁹/₁₁ - 5⁹/₁₁

    2y = 2²/₁₁

    2 2

    y = 1¹/₁₁

    (x, y) = (1⁵/₁₁, 1¹/₁₁)
