To convert this equation into slope intercept form simply distribute the number of - 2 and put it in
Y = mx + b form
Y + 4 = - 2 (X-1)
Y + 4 = - 2x + 2
Y = - 2X + 2 - 4
Y = - 2X - 2
I believe this is the solution in slope intercept form.
