G (x) = 3x - 5
let g (x) = y
y = 3x - 5
y + 5 = 3x
3x = y + 5
x = (y + 5) / 3
From y = g (x), x = g⁻¹ (y)
x = (y + 5) / 3
g⁻¹ (y) = (y + 5) / 3
g⁻¹ (x) = (x + 5) / 3
