    The area of a triangle = (1/2) * base*height

    Since the sail is a triangle, we can use that formula and substitute the numbers in.

    3.75 = (1/2) * 2.5*height

    3.75 = 1.25*height

    3.75/1.25 = height

    3 = height

    The height of the sail is 3 meters.

    The sail is 3 meters tall.

    Area=1/2 times base legnth times height

    area=3.75

    base legnth=2.5

    subsitute

    3.75=1/2 times 2.5 times height

    3.75=2.5/2 times height

    3.75=1.25 times height

    divide both sides by 1.25

    3=height

    it s 3 meters tall
