How to solve t (t-10) = - 7

    Share t to all of the numbers/variables inside the parenthesis, then rewrite your equation (2t-10t=-7). Next subtract 2t from 10t, then rewrite (8t=-7). Finally divide 8 from both sides and it comes out to be about t = - 0.9
