Suppose one box of cereal weighs 24 ounces and costs $3.60. A smaller box of the same cereal weighs 16 ounces but is on sale for $2.24. Which box costs less per ounce?

    The 16 ounces cereal, you divide the cost by the amount of ounces to get the amount for each ounce. 3.60/24 is 0.15, 2.24/16 is 0.14
