Given the system of equations:

12x+4y=60

3x+y=15

Use the substitution method to solve the system of equations. Is there a unique solution, no solution, or infinitely many solutions? You must show your work for full credit.

    12x+4y=60

    3x+y=15. Then y=15-3x

    12x+4 (15-3x) = 60

    12x+60-12x=60

    0x=0

    Then every x and every y is solution.
