The school fair committee needs pizzas for 275 people. each pizza has 8 slices. How many pizzas does the committee need to order so that each person can have one slice?

    The answer including a variable is p = 275 divided by 8.

    You can just divide 275 by 8. You will get a decimal.

    275 / 8 = 34.375

    Since you can't really have. 375 of a pizza, just round it up to 35. It's okay to have some left over.
