How is the difference 14 over 15 subtracted by 5 over 12 written as a decimal?

    1.93 what you do is subtract 14/15-5/12 then you divide the answer so you divide 60 divided by 31 to get your answer.

    If we round the answer to the nearest tenth, it would be 0.52. What we do, is we get the denominator equal to each other. I did it where both denominators equaled 180. Now we have 168/180 - 75/180. The answer to that is 93/180. Now we divide 180 by 93 and get 0.516666. We round that to the nearest tenth and get 0.52.
