14 coins in your pocket that are either quarters or nickels the total value is $2.50. How many of each type of coin do you have?

    If you have 14 coins in your pocket and the amount of money you have in your pocket is 2.50, when only using nickels and quarters you would have:

    5 Nickels=0.25

    9 Quarters=2.25

    0.25+2.25=$2.50 (money)

    9+5 = 14 (amount of coins)

    So you would have 5 nickeled and 9 quarters.
