    Ned = 1.5 * jill

    tom = 15 + jill

    tom + ned + jill = 190

    substitute ned and tom into the equation:

    (15 + jill) + (1.5 * jill) + jill = 190

    15 + jill + 1.5jill + jill = 190

    3.5jill = 175

    jill = 175 / 3.5

    then substitute this into the tom and ned equations to find your answers for them
