    The answer would be x = 9.

    3x + 3 - 2x = - 6 (Expand)

    x + 3 = - 6 (Simplify 3x + 3 - 2x to x + 3)

    x = - 6 - 3 (Subtract 3 from both sides)

    x = - 9 (Simplify - 6 - 3 to - 9)
