18 goes into 56 three times. subtract 56 minus 54 equal 2 bring down the 3 makinf it 23.
18 goes into 23 one time. subtract 18 from 23 equal 5. bring down the 4 making it 54. 18 goes into 54 3 times. 54 minus 54 equals 0.
