Colin is buying dirt to fill a garden bed that is a 9 ft by 16 ft rectangle. If he wants to fill it to a depth of 4in., how many cubic yards of dirt does he need? If dirt costs $25 per yd (cubed), how much will the project cost? (Hint: 1yd (cubed) = 27 ft (cubed). The answer i got is $1600. Correct me if in wrong

    3 yd*5 1/3 yd*1/9 yd

    =1 7/9 yd.^3

    =25*2 (I believe they want us to round up)

    =$50
