    Calculate his running rate in miles per hour:-

    1 hour and 20 minutes = 4/3 hours.

    His mph = 8.8 / 4/3 = 8.8 * 3/4 = 6.6 mph

    Time = distance / rate

    Time to run any number of miles (n miles) = n / 6.6
