    1. k (j - 3) = m

    Divide the k on both sides - > j - 3 = m/k

    Add the 3 on both sides - > j = (m/k) + 3

    2. 3 (8 - x) + 12 = 102 - 6x

    Subtract the 12 on both sides - > 3 (8 - x) = 90 - 6x

    Add the 6x on both sides - > 3 (8 - x) + 6x = 90

    Divide both sides by 3 - > 8 - x + 6x = 30

    Combine like terms - > 8 + 5x = 30

    Subtract 8 from both sides - > 5x = 22

    Divide both sides by 5 - > x = 22/5

    3. Sorry, I can't remember exactly how to do the last one.
