Step-by-step explanation:
(n + 1) ! = (n + 1) * n * (n - 1) * (n - 2) ... * 1.
n! = n * (n - 1) * (n - 2) ... * 1
- so (n + 1) ! = (n + 1) * n!
and (n + 1) ! + n!
= n! (n + 1 + 1)
= n! (n + 2).
