In a toy store, the ratio of the number of teddy bears to the number of dolls is 7:5. If the store has 140 teddy bears , how many dolls are in the store?

    since the ratio is 7:5, whatever you times by one number, you would have to times to the other number too. So when there is 140 teddy bears, if you divide 140 by 7, you get 20. Now if you times 5 by 20, you will get 100. There would be 100 dolls when there is 140 teddy bears.
