    3a+2b=9

    multiplying both by side by 3

    or, 3 * (3a+2b) = 3*9

    Hence, 9a+6b=27

    8x+6y=60

    Dividing both by side by 2

    or, (8x+6y) / 2 = 60/2

    Hence, 4x+3y=30
