A recipe calls for 350 milliliters of milk. Ms. Buback has exactly 0.5 liters of milk in her refrigerator. After she makes the recipe, how many liters of milk will she have left?

    there are 1000 mL in 1 Liter.

    0.5 L is then just 500 mL, half of 1000 mL.

    then she uses 350mL, so what's left is 500 - 350 = 150 mL.

    how many Liters is that? 150/1000 = 15/100 = 0.15 Liters.
