    First, expand the equation (multiplication). Then, Put the unknown at one side. You'll get the answer as 2.

    -6 (1-5v) = 54

    -6 (1) - 6 (-5v) = 54

    -6+30v=54

    30v=54+6

    30v=60

    v=60/30=2
