Who walks the faster rate: someone who walks 60 feet in 10 seconds or someone who takes 5 seconds to walk 25 feet?

    To determine the rate that an individual walks. Take each set values and put in the following formula to solve for the rate.

    Rate = number of feet / seconds

    Person 1 = 60 feet / 10 seconds = 6 feet/sec

    Person 2 = 25 feet / 5 seconds = 5 feet/second
