If p (x) = 2x^2-4xand q (x) = x-3, what is (p*q) (x)

    p (x) = 2x² - 4x and q (x) = x - 3

    so (p · q) (x) = p (x) · q (x)

    (2x² - 4x) (x - 3)

    = 2x² (x - 3) + - 4x (x - 3)

    = 2x³ - 6x² + - 4x² + 12x

    = 2x³ - 10x² + 12x
