If in drawing your vector you are required to use a scale such that 25 grams represent 1 cm, and if your resultant vector measures 5 cm, how many grams should you add to your 50 gram weight hanger in order to represent it

    If we multiply the ratio

    ... 25 g : 1 cm

    by 5, we get

    ... 125 g : 5 cm

    The number on the left is 75 g more than 50 g.
