How many different combinations of 6 letters can be formed if the first letter must be W or K? Use the Fundamental Counting Principle with three or more groups of items.

    Find the number of choices available for each of the 6 spots in the word. Multiply these numbers together to find the number of possible words.

    The first letter: 2 choices

    The other five letters: 26 choices for each

    So, the number of different words is 2*26^5
