Rectangle ABCD, is graphed in the coordinate plane. The following are the vertices of the rectangle: A (-4, - 2), B (-2, - 2), C (-2, 7), and D (-4, 7). What is the area of rectangle ABCD?

    As you can see, the rectangle created after I graphed these coordinates lead to your answer being 18 because the formula for area is Length * Width, so L = 9, W = 2, 9*2 = 18. So, The area of the rectangle is 18.
