    Hi there!

    Solution:

    Both complementary angles equal a total of 90.

    b = angle 1

    c = angle 2

    90 / 4 = 22.5

    22.5 x 3 = 67.5

    67.5 + 22.5 = 90

    Answer:

    b = 67.5

    c = 22.5

    complementary angles = 90

    x = one angle

    y other angle

    y = 3x

    x+y = 90

    x+3x = 90

    4x=90

    divide by 4

    x = 22.5

    y = 67.5
