Charlotte bought 16 songs for her MP3 player. Three-fourths of the songs are classical songs. How many of the songs are classical songs?

    12 songs because if you look at the problem there is the word "of". The word of means multiply, so if you make 16 into fraction that is 61/1 and multiply that my 34 the word problem is, 16/1 x 3/4 = 48/4 and 48 over 4 is equal to 12 and that is 12 songs.
