    D = ]-∞, - 1/2[ U ]-1/2, 3[ U ]3, + ∞[

    Step-by-step explanation:

    hello:

    f (x) = x / (2x²-5x-3)

    f exist for : 2x²-5x-3 ≠ 0

    2x²-5x-3 = 0

    ∆ = b² - 4ac a=2 and b = - 5 and c = - 3

    ∆ = (-5) ² - 4 (2) (-3) = 49 = 7²

    X1 = (-b-√∆) / 2a = (5-7) / 4 = - 1/2

    X2 = (-b+√∆) / 2a = (5+7) / 4 = 3

    the domain is : D = ]-∞, - 1/2[ U ]-1/2, 3[ U ]3, + ∞[
