    12 company will sell this year

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given data

    Database contains = 100 companies

    target business = 80%

    claim = 50%

    buy = 30%

    to find out

    Companies will we sell to this year

    solution

    we say that target business = 80% of 100 company i. e. = 80 company

    claim is 50 % of 80 company that mean 50/100 * 80 = 40 company

    and we know buy is 30 % of 40 company that mean

    30/100 * 40 = 12 company

    so we say 12 company will sell this year
