What would the following equation look like in augmented matrix form? 2x+y=6 x-3y=-2

    2x + y + - y = 6 + - y 2x = - y + 6 Step 2: Divide both sides by 2. 2x 2 = - y + 6 2 x = - 1 2 y + 3 Answer: x = - 1 2 y + 3

    x-3=-2

    x-3+3=-2+3

    answer x=1
