Which equations are equivalent to - 1/4 (x) + 3/4=12 select all that apply

1. (-4x/1) + 3/4=12

2.-1 (x/4) + 3/4=12

3.-x+3/4=12

4.1/4 (x+3) = 12

    Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify the equation in the question into - x/4+3/4=12 or (-x+3) / 4=12

    The first option: (-4x/1) + 3/4=12

Clearly not the ans since the x is in the denominator

    The option 2: - 1 (x/4) + 3/4=12

    -1 (x/4) + 3/4=12 is equal to - x/4+3/4=12

    The option 3: - x+3/4=12

Also wrong because it doesn't has the fraction 1/4 so it could multiply with the - x = ) - x/4

    The option 4: 1/4 (x+3) = 12

If you notice the fraction 3/4 and 1/4 have the same denominator so you can combine them together into (1+3) / 4 but this one, it doesn't give the equivalent equation like the one I solved above because

    1/4 (x+3) = 12

    =) x/4 + 3/4 = 12 (the fraction x/4 is positive)

    The option 5: (-x/4) + 3/4=12

It's exactly the same equation that I've solved above
