    f (x) = 2x² - 4x - 3

    g (x) = (x - 4) (x + 4) = x² - 16

    f (x) - g (x) = 2x² - 4x - 3 - (x² - 16)

    = 2x² - 4x - 3 - x² + 16

    = x² - 4x + 13

    Answer: B
